In order to maintain accurate records of snake populations throughout the state of Georgia, the following information is needed. This information may be vital in the future for population ecology. The information is for this purpose only and is not disclosed. Your personal information is not stored and is only used to pinpoint the location of the animal as accurately as possible.
Upon Identification (usually less than 30 minutes), you will be notified of the species and its status as harmless or venomous. You will generally get a response in under an hour. The photo may be added to the gallery to help others identify snakes that they find. If you would like your photo credited to you, please include your name.
